Instructions
Cook ziti according to package minus 2 minutes, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add ground chicken, onion, and garlic; cook until chicken is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Add marinara sauce, seasonings, and simmer for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
Mix cooked pasta into the sauce, then gently fold in ricotta and basil, keeping ricotta distinct.
Transfer to a baking dish, top with mozzarella and parmesan, then bake until bubbly and golden.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add a splash of milk or more cheese before baking.
