A delicious and festive dish perfect for Christmas gatherings, featuring tender pasta shells filled with cheesy goodness and topped with marinara sauce.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook shells until al dente, then drain.
  • Mix ricotta, half of mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff shells with cheese mixture and place in a greased dish.
  • Top with marinara and remaining mozzarella, then bake 25-30 mins.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, use fresh parsley for garnish and ensure shells are cooked al dente.
