This easy crockpot green bean casserole is a perfect side dish for holidays or weeknights, combining creamy mushroom soup, cheese, and crispy onions for a delicious treat.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  • Combine green beans, mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour mixture into the crockpot.
  • Top with shredded cheese and half of the fried onions.
  • Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours until heated through.
  • Before serving, sprinkle remaining fried onions on top and let crisp.
