A classic holiday side dish that's easy to prepare and full of flavor, combining tender green beans with creamy mushroom soup and crispy fried onions.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup french fried onions

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix green beans, mushroom soup, milk, cheese, soy sauce, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Stir in half of the fried onions, top with remaining onions, and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Let cool briefly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add more fried onions on top before baking.
