Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz can)
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste salt salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Blanch green beans for 5 minutes, drain.
  • Mix mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add green beans and half of fried onions to the mixture, stir well.
  • Transfer to a greased baking dish, bake for 25 minutes.
  • Top with cheese and remaining fried onions, bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Let cool briefly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of soy sauce or hot sauce to the mixture.
