A delicious and customizable meal featuring crispy potatoes, seasoned beef, fresh lettuce, and tasty toppings, all in a convenient bowl.

Ingredients

Spice Mix

  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2-3 medium potatoes potatoes (cut into chips)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 500 grams lean beef mince/ground beef
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions 

  • Mix spice ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Cut potatoes into chips, toss with 1 tbsp olive oil and half the spice mix, then bake at 200°C for 30-40 mins until crispy.
  • Cook beef in a hot pan until browned, add remaining spice mix, and cook until cooked through.
  • Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice to make burger sauce.
  • Assemble bowls with chips, lettuce, beef, cheese, pickles, and drizzle with sauce. Serve.
