A flavorful and hearty dish combining tender chicken sausage, fresh broccoli, and orzo pasta in a savory broth, topped with Parmesan and parsley.
Ingredients

chicken sausage, sliced
vegetables

broccoli florets

garlic, minced
liquid

chicken broth

Italian seasoning

grated Parmesan cheese

fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot. Cook sausage until browned, then add garlic and cook 1 minute.
Add broccoli and cook 2-3 minutes. Stir in orzo, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10-12 minutes until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, and garnish with parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
Feel free to add a squeeze of lemon for extra freshness.
