A festive and fun appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings, these Christmas Tree Deviled Eggs are decorated with colorful vegetables and herbs to resemble a holiday tree.

Ingredients

Eggs

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed cherry tomatoes (for decorations)
  • as needed black olives (for decorations)
  • as needed fresh chives or parsley (for garland)
  • as needed red and green bell peppers (for ornaments)

Instructions 

  • Boil eggs: cover eggs with water, bring to a boil, then cool and peel. Slice in half lengthwise.
  • Remove yolks, mash with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Fill egg whites with yolk mixture and arrange on a platter in a tree shape.
  • Decorate with cherry tomatoes, olives, herbs, and chopped peppers to resemble a Christmas tree.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
