Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds beef roast (such as chuck or sirloin)
  • 1 can (14 ounces) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) onion soup mix
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Season beef with salt and pepper, place in a roasting pan, and pour sauce over.
  • Cover with foil and roast for 2-3 hours until desired doneness.
  • Rest for 10-15 minutes, then slice and serve with sauce and herbs.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness.
