A refreshing and creamy salad perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients

large cucumbers

cup
sour cream
1
tbsp
white vinegar
1
tbsp
sugar
1
tsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
dill weed
salt
(to taste)
pepper
(to taste)
1/4
cup
finely chopped red onion
1/4
cup
chopped fresh dill
(optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the cucumbers, then slice them thinly.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, white vinegar, sugar, garlic powder, and dill weed.
Mix the dressing well until smooth and creamy.
Add the sliced cucumbers and chopped red onion to the bowl with the dressing.
Toss the cucumbers and onion gently to coat them evenly with the dressing.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add the fresh dill if using.
Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
For a lighter version, you can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
