Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 large red onion (thinly sliced (optional))

Instructions 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, white vinegar, chopped dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the thinly sliced cucumbers and red onion (if using) to the bowl. Gently toss to coat the vegetables in the creamy dressing.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

Notes

For added crunch, consider including some chopped nuts or seeds.
