A creamy, flavorful chicken dish cooked effortlessly in the crock pot, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • for garnish fresh basil

Instructions 

  • Place chicken in crock pot.
  • Mix sun-dried tomatoes, cream, broth, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper; pour over chicken.
  • Cook on low 6-7 hours or high 3-4 hours.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese during last 30 minutes.
  • Shred chicken, mix with sauce, garnish with basil, and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
