A classic holiday side dish, this crockpot green bean casserole is easy to prepare and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  • Mix green beans, mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Stir in half of the cheddar cheese and fried onions.
  • Transfer to crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Before serving, top with remaining cheese and onions, then cook until melted.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use fresh green beans if desired.
