A creamy and crunchy green bean casserole cooked effortlessly in the crockpot, perfect for holiday gatherings or family dinners.

Ingredients

Canned Goods

  • 2 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup french fried onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions 

  • Combine green beans, mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  • Stir in half of the fried onions and cheese.
  • Pour mixture into crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Before serving, top with remaining onions and cheese, then cook until crispy and melted.

Notes

For extra crunch, bake the topping separately in the oven for a few minutes before adding.
