A hearty and easy-to-make casserole combining ground beef, potatoes, and cheese, cooked to perfection in the crockpot.

Ingredients

Meat and Dairy

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions 

  • Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  • Mix mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Layer half of sliced potatoes and cooked beef mixture in the crockpot.
  • Pour half of the soup mixture and sprinkle half of the cheese over layers; repeat with remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of sour cream before serving.
