These delicious homemade nut bars combine crunchy nuts, rich dark chocolate, and a touch of sea salt for a perfect snack or treat.
Ingredients
Nut mixture
2 1/2
cups
unsalted nuts of choice
(3/4 cup cashews, 3/4 cup peanuts, 1 cup almonds)
1/2
cup
puffed rice
1/4
cup
brown rice syrup
1 1/2
teaspoons
vanilla extract
1/2
teaspoon
sea salt

cup
dark chocolate chips
2
teaspoons
coconut oil
Optional
flaky salt for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Spread nuts on a sheet pan and bake 5-8 minutes.
Mix nuts and puffed rice. Microwave syrup, whisk in vanilla and salt, then combine with nut mixture.
Press mixture into an 8x8-inch pan lined with parchment. Bake for 18-20 minutes, cool, then cut into bars.
Melt chocolate and coconut oil in intervals. Dip bars in chocolate, drizzle tops, sprinkle flaky salt, then refrigerate until set.

Store in an airtight container for best freshness.
