Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook ground beef, Italian sausage, diced onion, and minced garlic until browned.
  • Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta, cream cheese, chopped parsley, Parmesan, and arrowroot powder. Combine with cooked meats and spaghetti squash.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish, top with grated mozzarella, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until golden.
  • Garnish with parsley or basil before serving.

Notes

For a lower sodium version, use reduced-sodium marinara and cheese.
