These simple, healthy cookies require no sugar or flour, making them a perfect guilt-free treat for any time of day.

Ingredients

Bananas

  • 2 pieces ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or raisins (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
  • Mash bananas until smooth, then mix in oats, applesauce, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  • Fold in nuts and chocolate chips if using.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon before baking.
