Deliciously savory mushrooms roasted to perfection with a sweet and salty glaze, perfect as a side or over rice.

Ingredients

  • 500 g mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Clean and halve large mushrooms.
  • Mix soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss mushrooms in the mixture and spread on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  • Serve warm as a side or over rice/noodles.

Notes

Stir halfway through roasting for even caramelization.
