A classic and creamy potato salad perfect for any occasion. This recipe is easy to make and can be customized to your liking.

  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped (optional) (optional)

Instructions 

  • Boil potatoes until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and cool.
  • Combine mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion, pickle relish, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Add potatoes and eggs (if using) to the bowl and mix gently.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a tangier flavor, add a tablespoon of vinegar.
