A delicious and healthy vegetarian dish featuring jumbo pasta shells filled with ricotta and spinach, baked to perfection.
Ingredients

jumbo pasta shells

ricotta cheese

fresh spinach, chopped
1/2
cup
grated parmesan cheese

cup
marinara sauce
1
teaspoon
garlic powder

teaspoon
onion powder
to taste
salt and pepper
1/2
cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
optional
fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook shells until al dente, then drain.
Mix ricotta, spinach, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish. Stuff shells with mixture and place in dish.
Pour remaining sauce over shells, sprinkle with mozzarella, cover, and bake 25 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
Garnish with basil if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For a creamier filling, add a beaten egg to the ricotta mixture.
