A flavorful and aromatic dish featuring tender chicken marinated with fresh lemongrass and spices, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 4 pieces boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 stalks lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh cilantro

Instructions 

  • Combine lemongrass, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Add chicken to marinade, coat well, and marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked and charred.
  • Let rest briefly, then slice and garnish with cilantro.

Notes

Marinate the chicken longer for more flavor.
