Ingredients
Dough

fresh pizza dough
(about 12 oz, room temperature)

cup
fresh mozzarella
(sliced or torn)

heirloom tomatoes
(thinly sliced)

fresh basil leaves
(whole or roughly torn)

extra virgin olive oil

tbsp
balsamic glaze
(store-bought or homemade)

sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

garlic powder
(optional)

(for work surface)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Prepare baking surface or stone.
Roll out dough to 12x8 inches, transfer to parchment or pizza peel.
Brush with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Arrange tomato slices, add mozzarella, bake 10-12 mins until golden.
Top with basil, drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil, serve warm.
Notes
Use ripe but firm tomatoes for the best flavor and texture.
