Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound ground beef

Grains

  • 1 cup cooked rice

Canned Goods

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned

Vegetables

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

Spices

  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

Dairy

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 avocado sliced avocado
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa

Garnish

  • fresh cilantro, for garnish

Seasoning

  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning to the beef and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Layer cooked rice in bowls, then top with beef, beans, corn, and tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle cheese, add avocado, sour cream, salsa, and garnish with cilantro.
