Enjoy these wholesome cookies packed with oats, apples, and warm spices for a healthy treat.
Ingredients
Dry ingredients

rolled oats

whole wheat flour

baking powder

teaspoon
cinnamon

teaspoon
nutmeg
1/4
teaspoon
salt
Wet ingredients
1/2

unsweetened applesauce
1/4
cup
honey or maple syrup
1/4
cup
coconut oil, melted

teaspoon
vanilla extract
1

diced apples (peeled and cored)

cup
raisins or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
Combine wet ingredients in another bowl.
Mix wet into dry, then fold in apples and optional nuts.
Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake 12-15 minutes.
Cool cookies before serving.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool.
