A classic holiday side dish with tender green beans, creamy mushroom sauce, and crispy fried onions for added crunch.
Ingredients
Green Beans

fresh green beans, trimmed

cream of mushroom soup
(10.5 oz can)

milk

grated cheddar cheese

crispy fried onions

garlic powder
to taste

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, then drain.
Mix mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add green beans and stir.
Transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle cheese, and bake for 25 minutes.
Top with fried onions and bake for 10 more minutes until golden.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of soy sauce or hot sauce.
