Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Sauces & Sweeteners

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Aromatics & Oils

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper

Base & Vegetables

  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers

Garnish

  • 2 green onions chopped
  • sesame seeds for garnish sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, ginger, salt, and pepper to make marinade.
  • Marinate shrimp for 15-20 minutes.
  • Cook shrimp in a skillet 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  • Add broccoli and bell peppers; stir-fry 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve over rice, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional sesame seeds or add a squeeze of lime.
