A quick and flavorful chicken dish cooked in the Instant Pot, glazed with sweet honey and savory garlic.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • chopped green onions for garnish (optional) green onions

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and ginger. Pour over chicken in the Instant Pot.
  • Cook on 'Manual' for 10 minutes, then release pressure.
  • Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the pot and simmer until thickened.
  • Return chicken to coat with sauce, then serve garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken beforehand or add a splash of sesame oil.
