Ingredients

Tofu

  • 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 0.25 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Garnishes

  • to taste sesame seeds for garnish
  • to taste chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss tofu cubes in cornstarch.
  • Heat oil in a skillet and cook tofu until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
  • Pour sauce over tofu, toss to coat, then bake for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Ensure tofu is pressed well to remove excess moisture for crispiness.
