This quick and flavorful keto-friendly dish mimics takeout with tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce, ready in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thin

Vegetables

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Sauces & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari ((for gluten-free))
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Aromatics

  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

Seasoning

  • to taste none salt and pepper

Garnish

  • optional none sesame seeds

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli, soy sauce, and sesame oil; stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes until broccoli is tender but crisp. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
