Ingredients

Protein

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

Vegetables

  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced

Dairy

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Aromatics & Seasonings

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Oils

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Garnish

  • 0.25 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Sauté mushrooms in olive oil until tender, about 5 minutes, then add garlic and cook 1 minute.
  • Mix shredded chicken, sautéed mushrooms, cream, broth, seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Transfer to a greased dish, top with cheese, and bake 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly, garnish with green onions, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh herbs.
