Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup granulated sweetener (like stevia or erythritol)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Whisk eggs, then add yogurt, applesauce, and vanilla; mix smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry; stir until just blended.
  • Pour batter into pan and bake 20-25 mins until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool before cutting into squares and serving.
