A delicious low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, baked to cheesy perfection.

Ingredients

Meat and Dairy

  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 fat ratio preferred)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 8 oz provolone cheese (sliced)
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Vegetables and Aromatics

  • 1 large onion (diced)
  • 2 large bell peppers (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Condiments and Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Sauté onions and peppers in olive oil for 5-6 minutes, then add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  • Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, then add cream cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish, layer torn provolone, then top with shredded mozzarella. Bake 22-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms or hot sauce.
