This classic green bean casserole is a perfect holiday side dish, combining creamy mushroom soup with crispy fried onions for a delicious Thanksgiving treat.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can campbell's cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups french's french fried onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix green beans, mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and soy sauce.
  • Stir in 2/3 cup of fried onions, save the rest for topping.
  • Pour into a casserole dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Top with remaining onions and bake 5-10 minutes until golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of garlic powder or a splash of soy sauce.
