A quick and nutritious one-pan meal combining lean ground beef, whole wheat pasta, and fresh vegetables for a wholesome dinner.

Ingredients

Meat and Pasta

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta

Vegetables and Seasonings

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For Serving

  • to taste parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  • Add ground beef, cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, and pasta; simmer until pasta is al dente.
  • Mix in chopped spinach until wilted; season with salt and pepper.

Notes

Use fresh spinach for best flavor and nutrition.
