A flavorful and comforting cornbread stuffing perfect for holiday dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Dry Cornbread Mix

  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup chopped celery
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 0.75 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp rubbed sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 0.5 tsp kosher salt (to taste)
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Prepare and cool the cornbread, then crumble into a bowl.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt butter and sauté celery and onion until soft.
  • Mix vegetables and seasonings with crumbled cornbread, then add eggs and broth, mixing gently.
  • Transfer to a greased dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped herbs or a splash of hot sauce before baking.
