Ingredients

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet, mixing well to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and additional Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
