Stir in the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet, mixing well to coat the pasta evenly.
Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and additional Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
