A delicious and easy green bean casserole perfect for holidays or weeknight dinners, cooked effortlessly in the crockpot.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz can)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions

Instructions 

  • Mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Add green beans, onion, and half of fried onions; stir well.
  • Pour into crockpot and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  • In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Before serving, top with remaining fried onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or paprika before serving.
