A creamy and crispy green bean casserole perfect for family dinners and holidays, made effortlessly in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

Cans

  • 2 oz green beans, drained
  • 10.5 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup french fried onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add green beans and half of the fried onions; stir well.
  • Pour into slow cooker and spread evenly.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Stir in cheese and top with remaining onions; cook 30 more minutes.

Notes

For extra crunch, add more fried onions just before serving.
