Ingredients

large ripe tomatoes
(diced)

medium cucumbers
(peeled and sliced)

red onion
(thinly sliced)

fresh basil leaves
(chopped)

olive oil

apple cider vinegar

Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, and thinly sliced red onion.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
Pour the dressing over the tomato and cucumber mixture and toss gently to combine.
Add the chopped basil leaves and toss again to distribute evenly.
Let the salad sit for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using heirloom tomatoes.
