A flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring tender chicken glazed in a sweet-savory sauce served over jasmine rice.
Ingredients
Rice

cooked jasmine rice
Chicken
1
pound
chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
Sauces and oils
1/4

soy sauce
1/4
cup
honey
2
tablespoons
sesame oil
2
cloves
garlic, minced
1
inch
ginger, grated
1
tablespoon
cornstarch

cup
water
Garnishes and optional

green onions
sliced green onions
to taste
sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
Mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make a marinade.
Add chicken to marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
Cook chicken in a skillet for 5-7 minutes per side until done. Rest and slice.
In the same skillet, mix cornstarch and water, add to marinade, and simmer until thickened.
Assemble bowls with rice, sliced chicken, and sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Add vegetables if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken longer or add a dash of chili flakes for heat.
