These Strawberry Oatmeal Bars are a healthy and delicious treat, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

rolled oats

whole wheat flour

unsweetened almond butter

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
In another bowl, mix together the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and lemon juice until evenly distributed.
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan, pressing it down firmly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, cut into bars and serve.
Notes
You can substitute almond butter with peanut butter if desired.
