A comforting and easy-to-make casserole combining ground beef, vegetables, cheese, and crispy tater tots.

Ingredients

Meat and Vegetables

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cup mixed veggies
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (about 15 ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 2 pounds frozen tater tots

Instructions 

  • Brown ground beef with onions in a skillet, then drain.
  • Mix in veggies, mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread mixture into a 9x13 dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Layer frozen tater tots over the cheese.
  • Bake at 425°F for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

For a healthier option, use low-fat cheese and lean ground beef.
