A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken, steamed vegetables, and savory teriyaki sauce over rice.

Ingredients

Rice

  • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice

Protein

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

Vegetables

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot julienned carrot
  • 1/2 cup snap peas

Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions chopped green onions

Instructions 

  • Cook rice and steam vegetables until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, cook chicken until browned, then add teriyaki sauce and simmer 2-3 minutes.
  • Assemble bowls with rice, chicken, and vegetables. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

Use low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
