A creamy, cheesy green bean casserole cooked effortlessly in your slow cooker, perfect for Thanksgiving.

Ingredients

Green Beans

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup french fried onions
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Combine green beans, soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
  • Stir until well mixed, then cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese and half of the fried onions, then cook for 30 more minutes.
  • Top with remaining fried onions before serving and let sit for a few minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or a sprinkle of paprika on top before serving.
